Bayou Steel Group – LaPlace is a mini-mill operation located alongside the Mississippi River near New Orleans. LaPlace has a deep water dock that can accommodate ships with a 45-foot draft and multiple barges.
LaPlace operates a recycling center, melting facility, rolling mill and three finished inventory depots strategically located in Tulsa, Chicago and Pittsburgh.
The facility produces billets and a broad range of merchant bar shapes including equal leg angles, unequal leg angles, flats and channels, as well as standard and wide-flange beams.
Bayou Steel Group – Vinton is a mini-mill operation located alongside the Rio Grande River near El Paso, Texas.
Vinton operates a recycling center, melting facility, and a rolling mill.
The plant specializes in production of rebar for the commercial and industrial construction industry, grinding balls for the mining industry, and smooth rounds.
Bayou Steel Group – Harriman is a rolling mill located near Knoxville, Tennessee. The facility has served the light structural shapes, merchant bar and rebar markets for more than 25 years.
Harriman manufactures merchant bar shapes, including equal leg angles, unequal leg angles, flats, rounds, squares and rebar.
